If you are into adventurous stay, or you have thought of expericing the nature in a camp, this is your post.
What better way to get away from the noises and environment of the cities than camping?
From my perspective, it is something we all have to experience at least once in our lives.
So here is my recommendation of the best places to camp in Europe.
1. Wild Camping in Douro Valley, Portugal

Portugal is the best country in Europe for camping. You will not have to spend money per night like the majority of campings, there are a lot of places (either beach or mountain) where it is possible to camp for free.
This one, in specific, is the best for camper vans. But if you prefer cabins, they also offer them, and they are equipped with kitchenettes and free Wi-Fi.
It has many facilities you can enjoy for a REALLY low price like water supply, modern and clean toilets and showers, restaurants, playground and even wine tasting.
It is in walking distance to the town, Douro Valley. The town is such a lovely place with different shops and amazing local food you cannot miss.
2. Cala Llevado, Costa Brava, Spain

Costa Brava is known as one of the treasures of Spain, it attracts many tourists every year thanks to its cultural and architectural scenes.
Cala Llevado is an eco-friendly campsite that overlooks three creeks and a large bay.
Here you can find a beachside camping with many amenities like swimming pool, kayaking, snorkeling, and hiking places. They even have a rocky cove for nudist lovers.
This camp was created with the thought of making it easier for campers with no vehicles. You have many options of stay like chalets, privilege cottage, quirky cottage, and pitches (with different facilities depending on the model). You can choose according to your budget and preferences.
3. San Biagio, Lake Garda, Italy

Unforgettable place in the green peninsula surrounded by Lake Garda, Italy’s largest and grandest lake. Ideal for families.
It is a small island which you can access by ferry or on foot. You need to pay an admission ticket in order to enter (5€ per day).
Suitable for tents, vans, and pets. In the camping you can enjoy many facilities like Wi-Fi, a market, indoor and outdoor pool, playground, restaurants, showers, a fridge, and laundry service. There is also a tennis court and golf course, and you get enroll in horse riding lessons.
In addition, you can visit several cute and typical Italian villages nearby.
4. Camping Le Ty Nadan, Brittany, France

A holiday park in the middle of a green forest and located on the river L’Elle.
Perfect for families because the entertainment is divided into three age groups in order to offer the best possible experience.
There is option of many activities like paintball, horse riding, a water park, zip-lining, mountain biking, canoeing, electric quats, fishing, archery and a waterfall and jacuzzi. Also, 20 minutes by car you can find the beach.
You can choose where you stay, from bungalows to tends.
5. Gasthof Camping, Latsch, North Italy

This breath taking camping is situated in the heart of the southern Alps. With amazing mountain views and a sunny location, Gasthof camping is located only a few minutes from the center of the town.
It is an environmental friendly campsite with indoor and outdoor pool, and next to the river Adige
You can relax in the natural sauna, hike at Watles mountain, have fun at the playground, bike on the path from Meran to Reschen, or skiing in winter.
Gasthof allows pets. You can stay in a caravan, tent or even an appartment with halfboard or full board.
6. Tartaruga, Zakynthos, Greece

This campsite, is situated in the Bay of Laganas, next to a pebble beach and is considered to have the best views on Greece. The town, Zakynthos, is often called "the Venice of the East" because of the resemblance in its buildings.
It is the perfect place to find some relaxation with their numerous trees and amazing greek mediterranean food. You can also admire the turtles from their amazing terraces, or even get closer to them.
Among the activities you can find table tennis, go snorkelling, or visit the peacocks. You can enjoy the amazing clean facilities: showers, toilets, bakery, laundry services and fas Wi-Fi.
Pets are allowed by arrangement.
7. Hillend Campsite, Swansea, Wales

Situated in the Gower Peninsula in the south of the Wales' coast, known for being designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Also, one of the best spots for surfing in the UK.
The Hillend campsite has views to one of the best beaches in the area, Rhossili Bay, and with an amazing sand dune system.
You can choose from a big range of activities like surf, swim, children play area, paddle, kayak, walk, or climb. Among the facilities we can find 26 shared showers, laundry service, a diverse shop, and an amazing bistro to enjoy your meals.
It has a price of £15–20 per pitch for 3 persons and £3–5 surcharge for an extra person.
From here you can visit the church of St Cenydd, the biggest and oldest in the Peninsula. If you like Vikings stories, don't miss it.
8. D’Olde Kamp, Ansen, Netherlands

D'Olde Kamp is located in the village of Ansen, in Southwest Drenthe.
This eco-friendly campsite is known to offer unique experiences, living how they did in the past in this amazing region. You can choose where to stay from sod huts, caravan, a tree house, deluxe cottage, or a hut with your own goat and stable, called "Keuterij Deluxe Drostenveen".
Having the Dwingelderveld National Park as your 'backyard' allows you to be in contact with the nature, where you can go bike, horse riding, or walk. The perfect getaway.
Pets are allowed and it is the perfect place to enjoy with your little ones and live the farm life. You will have a lot of privacy and you can enjoy their services of nursering if you want to relax.
They have free Wi-Fi, table tennis, barbecues permitted, clean toilets and showers, laundry service, children's playground. An experience worth having.
9. Camping de la Cascade, Coo, Belgium

Camping de la Cascade is located in the Belgian Ardennes, on the river Amblève.
It is the perfect campsite to enjoy the relaxation of the quiet nature. The most beautiful pitches are located directly on the shores of the river.
The area offers many opportunities for sports activities, such as horse riding, mountain biking, canoeing, fishing, kayaking, and hiking.
The bar of the campsite is known for having 15 types of beer, a library with books, a piano, guitar and pull bag and many games. And even a campfire place.
The closest town is Coo, known for its beautiful waterfall and cozy terraces. Definitely worth visiting.
10. Camp Vala, Mokalo, Croatia

Camp Vala is located in Mokalo, on the Pelješac peninsula. It has an amazing view of the island Korcula and other reefs, of a beautiful pebble beach, and also the famous vineyards of the area.
You can choose to stay in the seaside camp, or in their unique appartments. Sailing, diving, biking, and fishing are the activites more practiced in the campsite.
There are refrigerators, washing machine, dog shower and chemical toilet. There is also a restaurant and a pizzeria, and Wi-Fi connection available to camp guests.
